How to Hide your Hard Drive without any Software

Guys here is another interesting and useful trick for you, how to hide your hard drive without using any software.

Actually there is not any magic trick for hiding your hard drive. We will just use windows functions for hiding your drive and this trick will work on all windows operating systems XP, 7, 8, 8.1 even this trick will also work on upcoming windows operating system Windows 9 .

So, if you want to hide your hard drive just follow these easy steps:

• First press Windows button + R and type gpedit.msc in the run command box.

• Now Click on gpedit to Open it, then Click on User Configuration >Administrative Templates > Windows Components.

• Then double click on Windows Explorer (in windows XP,7,Vista) and File Explorer(in windows 8, 8.1).

(For Windows 8.1 & 8)

(For Windows XP,Vista & 7)

• Now double click on Hide these specified drives in My Computer.

• Now click on ‘Enable‘ radio button and Option will be active and then select your choice you want to hide your hard disk drive i.e: you can select one, two or more you want and then click on OK.

Note: If you want to unhide these drive then just click on ‘Not Configured’ radio button and click on OK.
